Meet Your Makeup Artist
Hi! I’m Danielle. I’ll be your makeup artist and hairstylist on the day of your photoshoot, but I’m better known as The Boudoir Fairy Godmother because that’s just one part of what I do.
What are the most commonly asked questions about Boudoir photoshoots?
Since ChatGPT was launched at the end of last year, it seems like the whole world has been talking about AI! I decided to ask it “What are the most commonly asked questions about Boudoir photoshoots?” and I thought I would answer those questions for you all.
Meet Your Boudoir Makeup Artist
I am proud to have been part of the Foxlow Photography team for the last 3 and a half years as a makeup artist and hair stylist. I started out as a freelancer, but joined the team permanently last year so now Jon and Danielle can’t get rid of me!! Many of you will have met me at the studio when you have come for your boudoir photoshoot, but for those of you that haven’t met me I thought I would introduce myself.
Why I’m a Boudoir Photographer
Somebody asked me the other day why I shoot Boudoir, and it got me thinking. I truly believe that every single woman deserves the opportunity to look at a photo of themselves and say ‘I look beautiful’. I want everyone to have an album full of beautiful boudoir photographs that can give them a confidence boost when they’re having a crap day or feeling down on themselves. I want people to look at their boudoir photos and say ‘If I can do that I can do anything’.
Introducing the Boudoir Fairy Godmother

Building our cosy studio in Wirksworth
We both fell for the charm of Hopkinson's House the moment we saw it! We could both see it's potential with it's unique features, amazing natural light and wonderful atmosphere. All it needed was an injection of love and that's exactly what we've been doing ever since we got our keys.
