Katie stopped comparing herself to others when she discovered her confidence

katie’s confidence had been knocked by her fluctuating weight and she found herself always comparing herself to other people. her photoshoot finally allowed her to see herself differently - she discovered that she doesn’t need to change anything to love herself and be confident.

My self confidence and body image has been a bit all over the place the last couple of years with going up and down in weight. I was always comparing myself to other people and wanted to find a way to like my body more.

I was considering a boudoir photoshoot because I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and gain the confidence to love myself more when I came across Foxlow Photography on TikTok. It looked like a lot of fun, which inspired me to actually apply to do it!

I found the process of the photoshoot very exciting and thrilling. I was beyond nervous when I arrived at the studio, but after talking to the team and getting my makeup done I was soon in my comfort place. The process of makeup with Charlotte was very relaxing, since I never really do it myself. Seeing myself afterwards I really couldn't believe it was still me! I was overwhelmed with emotions with how I looked and loved how it gave me the confidence to step into the studio and love myself again.

The photoshoot itself with Danielle and Jon was a lot of fun from start to finish - I loved every minute of it and I would definitely do it again! As the photos were taken I began enjoying myself more and more, and I felt the confidence growing in myself.

Seeing my photos for the first time was amazing, I loved how I looked. Being able to see myself in a different light definitely changed how I feel about myself, and I would so do this again to show how confident it has made me!

The ordering process was very easy and there were lots of gorgeous albums to choose from. Afterwards, I shared my photos with a few friends and they thought I looked amazing which was so nice to hear.

This experience helped me learn that I can love myself how I am - I do not need to change anything about myself unless I want to, and I don’t need to compare myself to anyone else!
