Lindsay is feeling sexy at sixty!
Lindsay finally gave herself permission to book a photoshoot to celebrate her 60th birthday and discovered the sassy, sexy woman inside! She proved to herself and others that age is just a number.
“All I saw was droopy boobs, sticky out tummy and love handles”
"When I looked in the mirror all I saw was droopy boobs, sticky out tummy and love handles. I was a fat child, skinny teenager and a size 16 approaching menopause.
Diet and exercise improved my weight and figure, but not my confidence to know that I looked good - despite my wonderful man telling me I was stunning!
“I don't mind prancing around in my undies at home”
I'd always fancied having a photoshoot - I don't mind prancing around in my undies at home but in front of strangers with a camera was just a distant wish.
I'd just reached 60 when I saw an offer on Facebook from Foxlow Photography. Those women looked 'hot', could I?
“Off I went to buy new lingerie”
The date was booked, that wonderful man of mine paid as my birthday present, and off I went to buy new lingerie. I added a couple of must haves from home - my flying jacket and our favourite white shirt.
On the day, a coffee and danish for courage and in I stepped. I put myself in the capable hands of Louise who gave me a prosecco, a wonderful smokey eyed look and messy bed hair.

In the studio with Danielle and Jon was just like playing dress up with friends. I felt so relaxed and not at all self conscious - the poses felt natural and fun.
I was so nervous on my viewing day - the first image flashed up and I couldn't believe it was me. I sat in shocked disbelief: I didn't realise I could, no, DID look that good.
“The best of the best”
My photos picked themselves - they were the best of the best.
Now I seem to walk a little straighter, sway a little sassier, hold my head up higher. I KNOW I'm 'hot'.
