Wendy felt like a star and was empowered by her experience
Like so many mums, Wendy gave all her energy to her family, her friends, her work and her menagerie of animals! She didn’t prioritise herself which knocked her confidence and body image. She was so nervous before her photoshoot but turned to us for advice and support, then really enjoyed her time at the studio. She totally surprised herself when she saw the photos! I hope she never doubts herself again.
I think my body confidence has been knocked by a mixture of some tricky relationships and being a working single mum - fabulous and do love it, but full on! Plus managing a menagerie of horses, dogs and hens has led to a lack of time for focussing on me. I’ve been putting more time into fitness recently including yoga and running which has been really helping my physical self worth.
I felt that a boudoir photoshoot would be an excellent way to actually capture my body at this stage in my life and could boost my self esteem. After seeing so many beautiful photos and such empowered positive women on Foxlow’s page and group on Facebook I felt this was the one place to go! I loved the way it was such a small, friendly and knowledgeable team who all went the extra mile to help everyone, explain the process and answer questions. The results spoke for themselves - beautiful photos with such happy ladies.
I couldn’t have done this without Danielle’s amazing help and advice. As soon as I booked she sent me a style guide which had so much helpful info and advice about lingerie and outfits. Then she gave me personalised advice and even looked up pieces of lingerie that would suit me and sent me links for shopping. She was an amazing help and was supportive every step of the way!!!
I was very nervous as my shoot date approached, but you only have to click onto the Facebook group and Jon and Danielle would be there to help with videos etc. to put your mind at ease! I especially found the live chat where Danielle explained the whole process so so helpful. They all seemed to enjoy their jobs so much and I felt they all really were there wanting to help and make sure everything was the very best for me.
In the days before my shoot I felt seriously nervous and started to doubt myself again and whether I could do it, but again Danielle was there every step of the journey popping a message out to check I was OK and did I need anything. I explained I felt really panicked about what to wear now and she was straight back to help. Amazing in every way!
I absolutely loved my pampering before the shoot - I had never had anyone do my makeup before and Charlotte was a total pro. She was chatting away making me feel totally pampered and at ease, and the hair style and makeup she created was beautiful too! I wish she was on hand for every occasion as the results were truly amazing - literally the best makeup experience I can imagine!
Jon and Danielle were just the loveliest, most caring and professional of people - they really do make you feel totally at ease. Danielle had sorted outfits from my items and added a few things too - she really is a top stylist as everything worked so well together. Thankfully she had the most beautiful shoes and had matched ones that would fit me to each outfit (truly fabulous shoes, ladies) which made the photos even more wow!
Jon and Danielle both have so much help and advice on poses, from modelling them to advising how to adjust my body slightly to get the photos even better. At one point Danielle even stood wafting the air so my hair would move naturally - truly above and beyond in every way!
When I first saw my photos I couldn’t believe how beautiful they were! I cried as they started rolling on the screen, but managed to stop and hold it together as I was seriously blown away by the results and wanted to see them clearly. I truly had no idea my body could look so beautiful - I’m still completely on cloud nine! Thank you Danielle, Jon and Charlotte.
The ordering process was so easy. After my shoot they showed me all the options and gave me a price guide to take away so I could decide what to do. There was never any pressure at all. When I returned for the viewing it was entirely my choice which collection I chose and which photos I wanted to order. I’d thought I might want just a small album, but the results were so far beyond my expectations I chose to order an album of 30 images. I’ve also got print credit to enlarge my favourite picture with, but I have time to go through them all and decide that later. The products look so beautiful and I can’t wait to collect them! I’m sooooo excited…
Things have definitely changed since my shoot, I am so happy to have done it. It was a really fabulous, incredibly happy and empowering experience to feel like a star for the day. Plus an absolute bonus is the incredible results - I am literally over the moon with the photos and having shared a few images from Facebook with friends - their reactions are priceless! Some of the people I know thought they were from a magazine like Vogue and had to look closer to work out they were me. The number of compliments is so good. You have wowed us all!
I am so grateful and still smiling. I will treasure every photo as a constant reminder of who I am! Thank you.
