What is scarier, the photoshoot or the photos?

So many clients are nervous about a boudoir photoshoot, but for some it is seeing the photos themselves that they fear.

My self confidence and body image changed drastically from being involved in an abusive and violent relationship, and when I left I deliberately put on a lot of weight so that I would not be seen as attractive.

Once I began the process of healing I realised that not loving the way I am was slowly killing me both physically and mentally. I came across Foxlow on TikTok and, having read others inspiring stories, I decided to try.

Unlike others, I wasn’t actually too anxious preparing for the photoshoot itself, my biggest fear was that I would not like the photos. Even if I had been nervous, I would not have stayed that way for long as Danielle and Jon are professional, compassionate and great fun.

Since the photoshoot I have become more accepting of the things I can’t change and more determined to value my physical and mental health, starting with changing the way I see myself.
