Julie had the time of her life in a boudoir photoshoot

Julie may be confident in her day-to-day life, but a boudoir photoshoot was totally out of her comfort zone. It’s amazing how quickly she started enjoying herself and feeling like a star in the studio! Now she has her photos displayed proudly to forever remind her of that feeling.

I was looking through Facebook one day and came across Foxlow Photography talking about ladies doing a Boudoir photoshoot.

It got me thinking how gutsy these ladies were and how sexy they looked, I thought “Why not Julie? Have a go girl!” and before the night was out I'd booked an appointment with the lovely Danielle.

My husband was all for me doing the shoot. My self confidence has grown with age and I'm proud of all my curves!! I hadn't a clue what I'd be wearing, but I found my underwear online and I used a white shirt and a couple of my lacy blouses too.

To be honest, I felt a bit nervous about doing my shoot, but once I got started I couldn't believe how much I loved doing it. I was pleased with my hair and makeup, then Danielle and Jon were so helpful and encouraging in the studio.

To say I felt on top of the world doesn't explain how I really felt about my photo shoot!!! The whole experience was comfortable, reassuring, safe - and so much fun!

Going back to look my photos was exciting, and seeing my photos on the TV screen was amazing. I couldn't believe it was me. My husband Chris and myself, with the help of Danielle, picked photos for a lovely photo album and a large photo that we have on our bedroom wall.

I had the time of my life and would certainly do it again. My message to any lady wanting to do a photoshoot is go and do it - especially with Foxlow Photography!!!
