Donna reclaimed her confidence following a marriage breakdown

Donna’s self confidence dipped to an all time low following her marriage breakdown, but it finally gave her the push she needed to face a lifetime of self criticism and change the way she sees herself. Her boudoir photoshoot was all about reclaiming her confidence and celebrating who she is.

When I was a teenager I felt very self conscious about myself, I felt that I was one of the ‘bigger’ girls in high school. This improved when I met my partner at the time, but after having children I didn’t like the way I felt in my body and how it had changed after child birth. I wanted to keep covered and tried all the diets, some had success but I never sustained it.

My confidence dipped to an all time low after my marriage broke down, but being on my own gave me the kick I needed to book a boudoir photoshoot. I had been following Foxlow Photography on social media for the past few years and loved their posts, how professional everything looked and the quality of their work so I just made the decision that I had to do it! I decided that I needed to love myself, to be happy with my body and not to worry about what anyone else thought of me.

I was so nervous prior to the shoot, but the information that Danielle sent and the texts I received in the weeks before really helped to reassure me that I had made the right decision. All the information was clear and concise, but most of all so friendly. It really put me at ease.

I cannot express enough how incredibly empowering and confidence-boosting the entire experience was. From the moment I walked into the studio, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Danielle and Jon made me feel completely at ease, creating a comfortable and safe environment where I could fully embrace and celebrate my body.

Danielle did a phenomenal job with my hair and makeup, enhancing my natural beauty and ensuring I felt glamorous and radiant. Then the shoot itself was a journey of self-discovery. Their expert guidance and encouraging words helped me to relax and truly enjoy the process. Each pose and angle was carefully chosen to highlight my best features, making me feel beautiful and confident.

When I reviewed the final photos, I was blown away. The images captured my strength, sensuality, and confidence in a way I had never seen before. It was a powerful reminder of my own beauty and worth. This boudoir photoshoot was not just about the photos; it was about reclaiming my confidence and celebrating myself.

I couldn’t stop smiling driving home after the photoshoot, the adrenaline hit was epic! I didn’t think that I would be confident enough to tell people what I had done but I have already posted on my social media pages and told friends and clients how amazing it was!
