Emma’s photoshoot gave her a new perspective on her body

emma always struggled with her weight due to her hormones and hated the way she looked, focusing on “wobbly bits and scars”, but her photoshoot completely changed her perspective! she’s finally begun to love herself and her body - almost as much as her husband always has.

I’m a size 22-24 and always struggled with my weight due to my hormones, but this year is about living with and loving what I have. I’ve never seen myself in the same way my husband did and I wanted to start 2023 with a positive attitude and doing more stuff to make me feel good!

I was nervous from the minute I booked my shoot, however Danielle was on hand to calm my nerves and help me where I needed it. After months of browsing outfits and seeking advice from Danielle, I finally bought some. Even when I tried them on I didn’t feel great but thought something must look right as my hubby was very excited by them!

When I got to the studio, we sat and had a chat about how the day would go. I felt calm and relaxed the minute I met the team. I was whisked away to have my hair and makeup done which made me feel so pretty. It was then time to get into my outfits and out of the comfort of my jeans and hoodie!

Wearing my first outfit, I was pulling it everywhere to hide my body, but Danielle and Jon were chatting to me like I was still in my comfy clothes. This made me feel so much better and less conscious, by the time we’d done a couple of photos I was throwing myself into the poses like I knew what I was doing. My smile was becoming real before I knew it and I was thoroughly enjoying myself. I felt comfortable in my own skin and I dare say a smidge of confidence shone through!

When the shoot was done I got dressed and was excited but nervous to see the photos the next day. As much as I enjoyed myself, I still thought I’d look an absolute state and probably wouldn’t buy any photos, the smallest package if anything.

I got there the next day and my breathe was taken from me. I looked fantastic! I almost couldn’t believe it was me in the slideshow Danielle was showing me. My confidence soared as I saw picture after picture. Jon captured me so well, Charlotte made me look amazing and Danielle was my confidence boost - showing me every pose and being there when I needed her.

Long story short I ended up with the bombshell package and literally cannot wait for the book to arrive! I will never regret booking in with Foxlow and the feeling I have now is so worth any nerves I had before.

Ladies, no matter your size, age, shape… get yourself booked in. I am a large lady with lots of wobbly bits, scars and have always hated the way I look. Being with the team for a few hours has changed my perspective. There’ll always be days where I doubt myself, and when I have those I can look through my book and see what I did and how I look when I put myself out there to be confident!
