Where to Stay for your Boudoir Mini-break in the Peak District

We’re so honoured that our clients travel to us from all over the UK and overseas to visit our cosy Boudoir photography studio in Wirksworth, Derbyshire. Being so close to the Peak District National Park in England means that there are so many lovely places to stay nearby.
If you’re travelling a long way for your boudoir photoshoot (or if you simply want an excuse for a mini-break in the Peak District) here are some of the local bed and breakfasts, hotels and cottages that our clients recommended with the approximate time it takes to drive to the studio.
Wirksworth - 5 mins
Book quickly if you’d like to stay in this stylish 1 bed ground floor apartment, it’s popular! There’s quirky decor from renowned designers and heaps of original features, plus a luxurious bathroom and cute courtyard.
Wirksworth - 2 mins
This cute two bedroom cottage is just a few doors up the road from us - in fact you can see the studio from it’s front door! With a wood burning stove and comfy sofa, it’s a lovely place to curl up after your photoshoot.
Stonedge - 25mins
Perfect for foodies with a double AA rosette awarded restaurant to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner! This 4 star boutique hotel mixes modern luxury with country styling, and some rooms are dog-friendly too.
Matlock - 15mins
Just a few minutes walk from the centre of town in Matlock, this lovely family-owned B&B has 12 cosy ensuite bedrooms and a pretty garden overlooking the river, with fishing available and parking included.

Great value and convenient - clients often mention how comfy the beds are too! Being walking distance from the lovely cafes, shops, restaurants and bars in Matlock makes it a great base for your stay.
Woolley Moor - 25mins
The simple, modern bedroom suites of this Derbyshire country inn all feature balconies with beautiful views of the Derbyshire countryside. Plus the restaurant’s menu features lots of local ingredients.
Cromford - 10mins
A friendly, family run pub with cosy rooms above. There’s good food and an Italian wood fired pizza oven - plus over 60 wines from all ends of the earth and a wide range of gins to explore.
Two Dales - 25mins
A family-owned holiday park set in a 47 acre woodland with onsite spa, restaurant, gym, play centre and swimming pool. Their lodges sleep 2-8 people, many of which welcome pets or feature a private hot tub.
Shottle - 20mins
This family run luxury B&B is based on a working Chatsworth farm with a Georgian farmhouse and cosy self catering cottages. Their double jacuzzi baths and hot tubs are perfect for relaxing after your photoshoot.
Crich - 12 mins
A dog-friendly cosy two bed cottage in a cute nearby village. It’s recently been redecorated in a modern country style and features a ‘log burner’ style gas fire for chilly evenings.
