Crystal’s intimate wedding gift became a confidence boost for herself
What started as a pre-wedding gift for Crystal's husband-to-be became a personal gift for herself too. She didn't realise at first what a profound effect this would have on her confidence or the way she feels about her body.

When she got in touch and explained why she wanted to book a photoshoot, both Jon and I were inspired by her enthusiasm and the romance of her story!
She really wanted to create something sexy and personal for her groom to celebrate their wedding and was excited to see his reaction to her album, but found herself surprisingly nervous thinking about the idea of actually doing the photoshoot!
“Not your average love story”
"My love story began on September 30th, 2017. It’s not your average love story and often I find myself comparing it to the blockbuster film ‘The Holiday’ when I explain how we met to people
It was my first time out of America, I came to England to visit a friend and ended up meeting and falling madly in love with the man I now get to call my husband! In between the distance, the heartache of being separated and visa stress we still triumphed and fought for our relationship to be the success that it is.
“I wanted to give him this intimate piece of me”
I found Danielle and Jon at Foxlow Photography one evening whilst I was looking for something intimate and classy to give to my then fiancé as a night before our wedding gift.
It was important to me to give him something sexy, something unique that I knew he’d never been given before and above all I wanted to give him this intimate piece of me that I knew he’d cherish.
“I didn’t have the confidence I thought I would need”
It wasn’t easy messaging Danielle, I was nervous and I didn’t have the confidence I thought I would need to wear and be photographed in such intimate lingerie in front of anyone other than my husband. I almost talked myself out of going to my photoshoot until Danielle reached out to me and sent me some words to reassure me that all the feelings I felt were normal and it was okay to feel nervous and have some confidence doubts.
On the day of my photoshoot whilst I was putting on my first outfit behind the curtain, I felt my confidence deteriorating and didn’t think I could come out. Yet in that exact moment, Danielle came over to me and reassured me again that everyone feels the same way at first and it was absolutely normal to be scared but I could do this.
“They helped my confidence blossom”
After the first couple of shots, I felt myself loosening up and beginning to smile. I started feeling comfortable whilst being more exposed then I’ve ever been on a photoshoot! Jon and Danielle made me smile and helped me into various poses and positions whilst telling me how beautiful the images they were capturing were. They helped my confidence blossom and gave me a gift that is priceless.
I came to Danielle and Jon to give my husband something intimate and unique, I ended up leaving with just that and a new re-born confidence within myself and my body. I highly, highly urge every woman out there reading my words not to be scared to step out of that comfort zone.
